This dataset provides distributional data for all species of Oxybasis section Oxybasis in Asia, based on the occurrences verified by taxonomic experts.

Sampling Methods

The information was collected from numerous herbarium depositories and online citizen-science platforms (iNaturalist).

Study Extent The dataset is limited by Asia and includes all occurrences of all species of Oxybasis section Oxybasis, which were available to the author.
Quality Control The taxonomic identity was verified by Alexander Sukhorukov as a recognized expert in Chenopodiaceae.

Method step description:

  1. Specimens and documented observations were taxonomically revised. The occurrence information has been captured from herbarium labels and metadata. Georeferences were added using historical maps and Google Maps whenever they were missing in the original data.
